What’s ISF Academy?

The ISF Academy is the new educational center of the International School Sport Federation delivering online and onsite capacity-building activities for teachers, school sports representatives, coaches, officials, and students around the world. It aims to recognize and or to upgrade the knowledge and skills of any of these stakeholders involved or planning to be involved in national, continental, or international sports, educational networks, institution, events, or organisation.

Safeguarding Children in School Sport Curriculum & Diploma.

Online capacity building program for Heads of Delegation and Coaches prior to each ISF event.

Onsite seminars and educational workshops for the school students participating to ISF events on various topics (Anti-Doping Prevention – Safeguarding in Sport – Inspirational stories of Olympic/Paralympic Champions, Dual Careers, Nutrition, Sports clinics with International Sports Federations, Media & Communication youth programs)

Short and Mid-term capacity building program for Physical Education teachers in cooperation with Ministries of Education and Sport and School Sport entities worldwide.

International sport, educational events for Physical Education Teachers and students in faculty of sports.

Knowledge transfer and capacity building program for ISF events organizing committees.

ISF events international volunteering program development.

Physical Education Teachers and schools’ leaders pool of experts’ program development

Scientific research, advocacy and policy development related to PE and school sport.

Fun & Skills Zone activities

The Fun and Skill Zone concept aims to provide the participants and the local schools an open area where a variety of educational, physical, and cultural activities are proposed on the daily basis. International and national organisations will gather aiming to raise awareness on the Olympic values, to discover traditional or innovative sports, and to discover the culture of the different participating countries. It will be the heart of the Gymnasiade. The place where the different delegations can meet, learn, discuss and get to know each other better.

BIG SPORTING EVENTS ORGANIZATION

The first workshop will give you a chance to learn about the organization of big sports events. You will learn how it is to be a sports manager and how to build the event from scratch. You might not work on event organization during the education but you will learn how to stay organize and prepare for your own tasks for the upcoming days during the ISF Winter Gymnasiade.

PHOTOGRAPHY & SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATION

After you learned how to plan your tasks and working day, you’ll have an opportunity to about photography and how to create perfect social media content. This is your time to show your creativity and digital skills. Professionals and Influencers will teach you how to catch a perfect picture, how to find social media trends, and how to create and edit digital content. Later, you will practice at the sports venues and event.

SCHOOL SPORTS JOURNALISM & MEDIA

Now that you know that part of your tasks is storytelling followed by good social media content and photography, you are ready to create a written or video story! Great sports journalists will teach you how to do a proper interview and beat stage fright. You will write a lot of articles and record a lot of videos where you are the main host! Are you ready to become a real sports reporter?

BROADCASTING & VIDEO MAKING

Every big event has a big audience, sometimes at stands, sometimes online, sometimes in front of the small screens all of the above!
You will have an amazing opportunity to see how broadcasting works!
Get ready to see big cameras, studios, and what is needed to deliver a sports competition to your home. Later, you will learn about videomaking and create a video for the closing ceremony of the event!
