ISF U15 World School Sport Games: Volleyball is up and Running!

Here we are! The first competition opened its gate at 3 pm. The check in area was completely packed by the delegations which gathered for general meetings this morning. The organisers, ISF sports Presidents, Coordinators and volunteers did a wonderful job concluding the last preparatory details before the opening of the Games. The hotel looked like a rainbow, as the colourful tracksuits were all over the place!

Every sport of the event had a technical meeting involving the TC Presidents, TC Coordinators, coaches, and referees who discussed the specifics of each event to ensure the strong preparation for the start of the competition.

The volleyball tournament started at 3 pm where 7 participating countries played their first games. In the very first game, the girls from Montenegro overcame their Serbian opponents with the final score 2:1.

In the second match the boys from Bulgaria defeated Croatia with the score 2:0. The girls match between Republika Srpska and North Macedonia ended with a victory of Republika Srpka 2-1. Lastly, boys from Serbia won their game in three sets against opponents from Ukraine.
