Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life. It supports priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, Digital Education Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda. The programme also supports the European Pillar of Social Rights implements the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027 develops the European dimension in sport. Erasmus+ actions in the field of sport promote participation in sport, physical activity, and voluntary activities. They are designed to tackle societal and sport-related challenges.
VinylPlus® is the European PVC industry’s commitment to sustainable development. Through VinylPlus, the European PVC industry is creating a long-term sustainability framework for the entire PVC value chain, improving PVC products’ sustainability and circularity and their contribution to a sustainable society. It covers the EU-27, the UK, Norway and Switzerland. VinylPlus represents around 200 companies of PVC resin and additives producers and converters and coordinates a network of around 150 recyclers. Since 2000, VinylPlus has invested more than €120 million in sustainability in Europe. VinylPlus is registered as a SMART partnership on the United Nations Partnerships for Sustainable Development Goals Platform.
Kinder Joy of moving is an international Ferrero Group Social Responsibility project which currently inspires 4,4 million children and their families in 34 countries around the world to get active, enjoy moving, and develop life skills in an engaging and joyful way. At the heart of the project is the strong belief that a positive attitude towards movement will make today’s children, better adults tomorrow. The initiatives of this project are inspired by Joy of moving: an innovative, scientifically recognized educational method that aims to get children moving, through play whilst also developing key skills in four major areas: physical fitness, motor coordination, cognitive function and creativity, life skills.
PEAK is the sports merchandise supplier of the International School Sport Federation. Strongly positioned in the world of sport, PEAK is recognised in more than 100 different countries around the world and through their work with the National Olympic Committees of Belgium, Brazil, Iceland, New Zealand, Romania, Slovenia, and Ukraine, as well as their committed work in the sport of Basketball, currently working with more than 10 National Federations around the world. (Cameroon, Germany, Iran, Israel, Latvia, Lebanon, Mali, Montenegro, Democratic Republic of Congo, Serbia).
Brussels city Partners
The Wallonia-Brussels Federation is an institution at the service of French-speakers in Brussels and Wallonia. Its powers are exercised in the areas of Education, Culture, Sport, Youth Assistance, Scientific Research and Houses of Justice. It has a Parliament, a Government and Public Services (the Ministry of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, the ONE, the RTBF, the IRGC, etc.) enabling it to carry out its missions. Not collecting taxes directly, the Wallonia-Brussels Federation finds its main source of financing in the tax receipts collected and paid by the federal authority. The emblem of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation is a rooster. His feast day takes place on September 27 and Brussels is his capital. The Wallonia-Brussels Federation has, over time, strengthened its links and collaborations with Europe, the Francophonie and has representations throughout the world.
Adeps is the General Administration for Sport. It has the mission of promoting, organising, encouraging, and supervising physical and sporting activities among the French-speaking population of Wallonia and the Brussels-Capital Region. Adeps oversees the development of Sport for All with a school public or the general public, in particular among people who are furthest from regular sports practice (poor population, people with a disability, etc.). Besides that, the organization and support of high-level sport, the financing of support for other sports operators. Finally Adeps is the responsible of the representation of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation in the various international sports bodies: European Union, International Organization of La Francophonie, etc.
